We have just received Berroco's Comfort in worsted weight. This is great yarn for baby blankets because it is made of nylon and acrylic (machine wash and dry). It's extremely soft, comes in great colors and is only $5.95 for 210 yards.
Summer Classes are have been posted !
We have added many one day classes, including intro to lace, several baby blankets, circular options and baby bibs. Although our beginning knitting class is the best way to learn all the basics of knitting, some found it difficult to commit to 5 weeks. For this reason we have added individual classes in learn to knit, adding texture (learn to purl), shape it (increases and decreases), blocking, pattern reading, intro to cables and understanding gauge.
We also have a Knit-A-Long for the Lizard Ridge Afghan from Knitty.com on Friday nights in July and August.

We have created parties and classes upon request! We can work with you and your friends to create a class (or series of classes) or party to meet your needs. This could range from beginning knitting classes for a group of your friends to a project class for a knitting club. Maybe you all want to knit the same sweater or to learn to knit socks together.
